Two ways to take on the project

A project can start as your own and get help later. Everything you have gathered is still there when someone joins.

I’m doing something myself

You plan and do the work

On your own or with your family. What you would otherwise keep in your phone, in emails and on notes gets a place in the project.

  • The plan and the budget, so you can see what the project costs
  • Activities at your own pace, so you can do a little every weekend
  • Photos and documents, so you have everything with you on your phone
  • Your family invited, so everyone sees the same plan

I need help

You hire and you decide

A tradesperson or a company does the work. You work in the same project, and the decisions are yours.

  • Your tradesperson invited, so you work in the same project
  • The quote in the project, so you can read it and decide
  • Photos during the work, so you can see how it’s going
  • Your approval, so that done means done for both of you

From your own to hired. The deck you have planned yourself can get a carpenter invited when it’s time to build. The photos, measurements and budget are already in the project.

Before, during and after the project

What you gather at the start helps you during the work and is still there when it’s finished.

  1. Before

Photos and measurements in one place

So you don’t have to search when you ask for a price or buy materials. Inspiration, drawings and budget are in the same project.

  2. During

    Activities

So you can see what remains and who does what.

  3. During

    Agreements

So you can see what you have decided. A change comes with a price, and you reply before it’s carried out.

  4. After

    Records

So it’s still there afterwards. Photos and documents, such as drawings and receipts, stay together with quotes and invoices.

The records show what has been decided and done. Questions about warranty, insurance and tax deductions are settled according to the agreement with the tradesperson, the insurance terms and the rules of Skatteverket (the Swedish Tax Agency).

The tradesperson sends. You decide

Quotes, changes and invoices are issued by the company doing the work. You receive them in the project, read them at your own pace and reply there.

What you do in the project

  • Read the quote and decide
  • Say yes or no to changes
  • Approve completed work
  • See and pay the invoice

What the tradesperson does

  • Sends the quote
  • Proposes changes with a price
  • Marks the work as done
  • Issues the invoice

Do you run a company yourself? There you issue quotes and invoices, and your private projects are kept separate from the company.

A project from idea to done

A patio takes shape

  1. 01

    The idea

You collect photos of patios you like, measure the plot and set a budget.

  2. 02

    The help

The groundwork needs a tradesperson. You invite the company to the project, and the quote arrives there.

  3. 03

    The work

Photos show how it’s going. Wider steps come as a change with a price, and you say yes before they are built.

  4. 04

    Done

The tradesperson marks the work as done, you approve it and the invoice arrives in the project. Everything is still there afterwards.
